Wicomico County Public Works is a multi-disciplined organization that is responsible for maintenance and operation of the following services and facilities within the County: Landfill, Recycling, River Dredging, Roads, Dams, Bridges, Storm Drains (open & closed systems), and Ferries. The Engineering Division provides technical support services to all of those facilities and conducts plan review of development submittals to ensure any proposed development does not negatively impact existing infrastructure and that new construction meets County standards and specifications.
