Reports to the Radio Systems Manager and assists in the day-to-day operation of the County’s 800 MHz Radio System. Assists in the day-to-day operation, repair and maintenance of the County’s 800 MHz Radio System. Removal and installation of 800 MHz radio equipment to include mobiles, portables and fixed equipment and associated equipment for all county departments. Removal and installation of wireless equipment. Fabricate cables, brackets, and wiring harnesses required for unusual mobile, portable and fixed equipment installations. Perform quarterly preventive maintenance checks on all county radio equipment and documentation of findings. Programming of radio equipment and training in their proper usage. Set-up of template for Wicomico County Radios and installation of new/upgraded equipment software.
