Effectively assist the Opioid Coordinator and provide logistical oversight of the Wicomico County Opioid Intervention Team (OIT) educational trailer and Wicomico Goes Purple Campaign. Will include coordination, planning, and transportation of OIT Educational Trailer, attendance at Go Purple and OIT Operations section meetings, and events, as well as maintaining an inventory of supplies. Coordination with Opioid Coordinator and other community partners to ensure Wicomico County and the OIT is represented as needed. Participation in community events and leadership role in Wicomico Goes Purple (WGP) awareness campaign. Will be required to work some evenings, weekends or holidays due to training, meetings, or special events. Extra work hours may occur on short notice.
This position will be housed in the Wicomico County Health Department.
