Staff should be
professional and provide supervision, direction, and excitement to an
individual Kids Klub program site by displaying leadership skills, following
appropriate risk management protocols, and being accountable for the wellbeing
of the children participating (ages 5-12) in the program. Additional job duties
include but are not limited to: tracking participant enrollment records;
maintaining day to day program duties (i.e., documenting daily rental
agreements, keeping track of time sheets, responsible for inventory of
equipment, craft and snack supplies and communicating those needs to the
Program Director); maintaining participant records (i.e., participant files,
incident/accident reports, behavior write-ups, & daily attendance
sign-in/out sheets); plan, direct and oversee daily activities (age
appropriate, small and large group, low impact games & activities both
indoors and outdoors and arts/crafts); develop and implement program strategies
with other site staff to enhance the overall program quality; ensure the
program environment is clean and orderly; implement rules and consequences to
maintain order; keep an open line of communication between the Program
Director, other site staff and parents; ensure your Kids Klub site is operating
within our program license requirements at all times; be flexible and willing
to take on additional duties assigned by Program Coordinator and Director. Work
schedule is Monday through Friday during the months Wicomico County Public
Schools are in session. All after school programs end at 5:30pm with start
times varying depending on location.
