The Senior Financial Officer is responsible for the financial requirements of the State's Attorney's Office. This position is also responsible for arranging building maintenance and for supervision of administrative staff benefit hours.
Duties:
- Receives all invoices for the office, creates requisitions for purchase orders, and
submits for payment. - Handles petty cash account transactions, monitoring and reconciling the petty
cash bank account monthly for office and submits to Finance. - Submits payroll in Munis System for merit employees and hours to payroll for
Drug Court Grant & Drug Court Coordinator and provides payroll information to
all required departments as requested. - Assists State’s Attorney with HR notifications on new hires, resignations, and
staff information changes. - Assists with preparation of Fiscal Year Budget, monitors budget, and keeps
State’s Attorney updated on budget. - Monitors County Purchase Card purchases, collects receipts, and reconciles
report monthly. - Responsible for Parking Permit Program.
