Kids Klub Summer Camp Assistant Director

The Assistant Director provides support to the Site Director and manages the camp in the director’s absence.  The Assistant Director also helps supervise and give direction to both counselors and campers.  They display strong leadership skills and always act in a professional manner.   Along with fellow staff, they are responsible for following appropriate risk management protocols and ensuring the well-being of the children participating (ages 5-12) in the program. Additional job duties may include but are not limited to: Tracking participant enrollment records; Upholding daily program duties (i.e., documenting daily rental   agreements, keeping track of time sheets, inventory of supplies, and communicating all needs or concerns to the Site Director or Program Director); Maintaining participant records (i.e., participant files, incident/accident reports, behavior write-ups, & daily attendance sign-in/out sheets); Planning, directing, and overseeing daily activities (age appropriate, small and large group, low impact games and activities both indoors and outdoors and  arts/crafts); Collaborating with other to staff to develop and implement program improvement strategies; Maintaining a clean environment; Enforcing rules and consequences to keep order; Promoting open lines of communication between the Program Director, Site Director, counselors, and parents; Ensuring the Kids Klub site is operating within license requirements at all times; And being flexible and willing to take on additional duties assigned by the Program Director and Site Director. Hours are seasonal with varying daytime 35-40 hours per week. Must be available Monday-Friday during the scheduled weeks of camp.
