The Facility Grounds Worker is responsible for the care and upkeep of Wicomico County Parks. The main focus of this position will be on the athletic fields utilized by County programs and tournament participants. Upkeep of the fields will include but not limited to mowing grass, dragging, weeding, leveling of the fields, drainage projects, and tournament preparation. Other duties include:
- Application of herbicides and fertilizers;
- Landscape duties, trail maintenance, trash removal, janitorial duties; and snow removal;
- Special event set-up and building maintenance; and
- Assistance in park-related projects as needed throughout the county.
