Primary function of the position is to develop and maintain GIS data and perform GIS analysis in support of local government. This will include data development related to 911 addressing and emergency services dispatch, as well as provide GIS support to the Planning Department and a variety of other county departments.
•Utilize GIS software to assign and maintain 911 addresses,
•Establish address ranges for new streets
•Maintain the 911 addressing master database
•Conduct advanced GIS analyses of spatial data for users throughout County
government. Produce data and maps expressing the results of analytical processes.
•Design and produce various types of GIS maps for emergency services personnel,
County departments and general public.
•Prepare reports; maintains files and records.
