Summary:
Responsible for providing supervision, direction, and excitement to an individual Kids Klub After School program by directing the program with leadership skills, risk management, and accountability of the children participating (ages 5-12). Track enrollment records and collect payments from participating families. Maintain program and participant records (participant files, incident/accident reports, attendance, sign-in sheets). Direct and oversee daily activities. Develop and implement program strategies with site staff to enhance program. Maintain the program environment in a clean and orderly fashion. Implement rules and punishments to maintain order. Responsible for communicating equipment and craft supplies needed for site. Responsible for all other duties assigned by Program Coordinator and Director.
Requirements:
Ability to work afternoons and evenings. Must have proven leadership, communication, supervisory, and motivational skills with working with part-time staff and youth participants. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to self-manage, motivate & accept direction and criticism. Knowledge of sports, high and low active-organized games, and arts & crafts. Must have proven experience handling and tracking finances. Must have a valid driver’s license & reliable transportation. Must pass pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen. Must be CPR/ AED & 1st Aid Certified (within first month of employment). Must complete physical within a month of hiring.
Education:
Have a minimum of 30 college credit hours in Elementary Education and or Psychology or Child Care 1 & School Age Group Child Care. Must have professional experience in working with children.
