Program Director- Child Care

Responsible for administering child care programs, youth and adult instructional programs, and special events. Duties include budget management, volunteer recruitment, inventory tracking, and procurement.  Must hire, supervise and evaluate several part-time employees. Monitor local and regional trends, work with community organizations, and take initiative to create new opportunities to increase program offerings throughout the county.  Program planning, execution, and assessment are essential. This position is directly responsible for the collection and management of program fees and must be keenly aware of risk management factors as they relate to staff, programs, volunteers, and recreation councils.
