The Civic Center manager is responsible for budget development and execution; personnel; obtaining, retaining and developing events; execution of event contracts and technical riders; and the safety and cleanliness of the physical plant as it relates to the operation and sustainability of the Wicomico Civic Center. This includes operation of food service, the box office, sales, marketing and finance; general maintenance; building improvements; maintenance of all operating systems and equipment; customer service; safety and medical needs; and event support, including set up and break down. This also includes staffing, procurement of goods and services, establishing operating manuals, inventory control and service evaluation. Required to work nights, weekends and holidays as dictated by the schedule of contracted events.
