Wicomico County is seeking members to serve on the Administrative Charging Committee for Police Accountability. The Administrative Charging Committee meets once a month and as needed, and is responsible for:
- Making determinations on whether to administratively charge an officer and, if charged, recommends discipline according to the disciplinary matrix;
- Issuing a written opinion that describes its findings, determinations, and
- recommendations;
- Providing written opinions to the proper recipients;
- Making determinations regarding exoneration;
- Recording failures to supervise; and
- Maintaining confidentiality.
